Your customers never email SlyReply directly — we recognise you by the address you send from, so an unknown sender just hits a dead end. The replies only ever come back to your inbox. We never connect to your mailbox, so we don't read your mail or touch anything you didn't send us.
Yes — the AI reads the one email you send it, the same way it has to read a question to answer it. But that's where it ends: we don't save the contents of your emails or its replies. Once the reply is on its way to you, the words are gone — all we keep is the thin routing metadata (subject line, addresses, message IDs) that lets replies thread correctly in your mail client. Your conversations live in your own inbox.
One honest caveat: replies travel through Postmark, the delivery service that gets them to your inbox reliably, and Postmark retains transient copies of sent mail for up to 45 days for deliverability troubleshooting — a limitation of their platform, not a copy we keep or can read back into the product.
